History of Wrightco Technologies:

Wrightco Technologies Inc. Licensed Schools Division is a group of Postsecondary Proprietary Schools licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private License Schools. Wrightco Technologies was established in 1991, by Brent L. Wright. The first classes were held at Shelocta, Pennsylvania (Indiana County) in 1992. Wrightco Technologies Inc.’s Licensed Schools Division has multiple sites licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools, and the Contract training division operates additional contract locations in collaboration with educational and service providers. The corporation has served students from across the country as well as international students. Wrightco Technologies Inc. has become a recognized educational leader in fiber optics, telecommunications, data communications, voice data and video applications, computer operator and electronic security alarm training.

Wrightco Technologies Inc. was named number 425 on the 1998 & 479 on the 2000 “INC 500" list of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.

Our training methods and procedures provide individualized and group technical instruction along with extensive hands-on applications with live systems and equipment. Wrightco's multi-talented management team has designed a series of training programs utilizing years of actual experience that will prepare the participants for real job opportunities in the real world.

Wrightco Technologies' Training Programs are designed to enable participants to achieve the necessary skills, training, experience, and confidence to successfully compete for, secure, and to hold entry level technician jobs in the Communications, Fiber Optics, Data, Video and Electronic Alarm Industries. Certifications International has approved Wrightco as one of Pennsylvania’s exclusive training facilities to teach and administer International Certifications in: Fiber Optics Installer, Security Alarm Installer, Enhanced Data Cabling Installer and Telecommunications Technician.

Wrightco's Training Programs consist of approximately 60% actual hands-on training and 40% text book instruction. As a part of each program, the students will receive their own tool pack.

The classroom instruction is provided by professional Instructors, who meet or surpass the requirement of the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools, and all of whom have received advanced training. Wrightco's staff also continues to receive ongoing advanced training on a variety of systems and technologies. Special thanks to Indiana University of Pennsylvania one of our vocational educational trainers who provided additional training and certifications for our Instructors and Directors.
